LEDGER ENTERPRISE JOINS DTC DIGITAL ASSETS SOLUTIONS INDUSTRY WORKING GROUP

Ledger Enterprise has joined the DTC Digital Assets Solutions Industry Working Group, collaborating with 100+ firms on tokenized securities standards for institutional adoption.

Tokenized securities need standards. That's the only way they move from experiment to operation.

Ledger Enterprise is contributing to this important conversation as one of the newest members of the DTC Digital Assets Solutions Industry Working Group (IWG), working alongside over 100 financial institutions and digital asset providers.

Why this matters

The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC) is the premier post-trade market infrastructure for the global financial services industry. Its subsidiary, The Depository Trust Company (DTC), provides custody and asset servicing for securities valued at $114 trillion.  When DTCC moves on tokenization, the market listens.

The IWG was created in the first half of 2026 to galvanize a broad cross-section of industry leaders to facilitate ongoing, robust dialogue that drives widespread digital assets adoption and advances innovation. The IWG supports discussion, feedback and alignment around the DTCC Tokenization Service and broader developments across digital assets.

Ledger's contribution

Standards only matter if they're adoptable, proven, and backed by real infrastructure. How do approval workflows, multi-party authorization, and compliance rules translate to on-chain workflows? How do you enforce settlement finality in hardware, not just software? How do you make every transaction auditable for regulators?

Ledger joined the IWG to contribute its perspective to industry discussions, including considerations related to settlement standards, corporate actions and reconciliation.Ledger brings expertise in hardware-secured institutional custody and governance frameworks.

Questions remain around how activities such as dividend processing, proxy voting and regulatory auditability should operate consistently in on-chain environments. Addressing these considerations will be important to supporting institutional adoption.

The real value extends beyond the announcement. It lies in the dialogue and industry-wide collaboration taking place among the IWG’s more than 100 members.
