Pascal Gauthier

Chief Executive Officer

Pascal started his career at Kelkoo, a price comparison service acquired by Yahoo for EUR 475 million in 2004. He then joined the advertising company Criteo in 2008 where he worked for five years as COO, being instrumental in the pivot to advertising, which led to the company’s global expansion towards a EUR 2.17 billion market capitalization.

Before being CEO at Ledger, Pascal worked as Venture Partner in Mosaic Ventures, a London-based venture capital firm focusing on Series A stage companies. Pascal is also non-executive chairman of Kaiko, a financial data website on Bitcoin.

VP Business Solutions

Jean-Michel heads the enterprise division of Ledger.

Jean-Michel is a seasoned executive from the traditional financial industry, working for Euronext (Paris stock exchange) and the New York Stock Exchange, where he held various positions covering Equity Research, Strategy, M&A, and IPO.

In 2016 and 2017, Jean-Michel has served as an advisor to capital market technology firms, venture capital funds, and is a founding member of France FinTech, the French Association of Fintech companies.

Chief Information Security Officer

Matt started his professional career with the Australian Federal Police in Canberra, Australia.

Matt has spent more than 20 years with a specific focus on Information Security and Cyber Security alongside physical security. Before being CISO at Ledger, Matt was the Group Chief Security Officer for Ingenico and the Director of Cybersecurity for Visa Europe.

Alexandre Lemarchand

VP Global Sales & Partnerships

Alexandre is a strategic leader with over two decades of experience in FinTech effectively growing and managing sales and customer retention. Alexandre joined Ledger following 12 years at Microsoft, where he was most recently a Director of Partner Strategy and Business Development.

Prior to his time at Microsoft, he spent time in the U.S. working for software sales companies where he focused on business development.

Alexandre is now responsible for driving revenue, developing partnerships, and executing Ledger Enterprise Solutions worldwide business strategy.

VP Engineering

Alex is the VP Engineering of Ledger Enterprise Solutions bringing more than 15 years of experience in driving the adoption of emerging technologies in major financial services organizations like Nasdaq.

More recently, Alex was working on the next generation of digital capital markets infrastructure in a senior advisor and head of architecture role at SIX Digital Exchange. Alex holds multiple patents in distributed systems and is responsible for the software development and delivery organization, building enterprise-grade digital custody solutions.

VP Technical Architecture

Laurent brings two decades of experience in building innovative solutions, digital security, and embedded systems to Ledger. He is joining us from Thales Digital Identity and Security where he was technical Advisor and in charge of the Software Innovation Labs, most recently building Thales Blockchain and Identity verification offers.

He is now leading the Architect team, in charge of ensuring Ledger product lines achieve the highest level of quality for software design and engineering development principles.
